“Hey Kids,
Can you believe this! TT and I can’t eat chocolate. It’s tempting, but a big NO NO. We LOVE the smell of it. I sniffed out a little kid eating dark chocolate hearts. He dropped one and I managed to squish it with my paw. Then I licked my paw. TT screamed, “MORE!!!”
Every Valentine’s Day he goes crazy. We could get sick and die. I think he knows about the danger of dogs eating chocolate, but he doesn’t care. Later I found a chocolate chip. JUST ONE, and I gobbled it up. TT went wild. He growled and yelled, “MORE!” It’s a good thing I’m the boss of TT my Terrible Tummy.
You get the picture. VALENTINE’S DAY IS A BUMMER. All we can handle is a sniff, tiny nibble or a lick. I’m always happy when it’s over.
Now back to, Giggle and Go with Stubb to Italy. Such a delightful book. I hope your reading about Contento School and not just eating Valentine candy. Remember, Iris, Ben and I all jumped into the mud ditch on the playground! Mrs. Wreckman, out teacher, was sucked down into a hole in the water.
One thing I must tell you about is the biscotti bag. Mrs. Wreckman, the teacher, uses it as a teaching tool. She bribes her class with cookies. She doesn’t have to bribe TT and me.
“The teacher walks to her closet and unlocks the door. She hauls a huge canvas bag, locked with a pad lock and chain, to the front of the room. Mrs. Wreckman unlocks the pad-lock with a key from around her neck. The children look like silent statues with their hands open, waiting for a cookie. I’ve never seen this class so quiet. The teacher places two biscotti in each student’s hand.”
I finally sneak and hide in the biscotti bag. ‘I’m in! I did it. It’s dark in here. Not much room, but I can smell yummy cookies. I’ll slide down to the bottom.”
MY BISCOTTI LOVE SONG
I can’t see, biscotti are covering me,
Under me, over me, packed on my sides,
Over my ear, under my rear, oh dear,
I ate ten biscotti and now twenty more,
Look out, hunry TT, you’ll hit the floor.
Thirty biscotti, gives me a wiggle,
TT and I love to piggle, piggle piggle.
That’s all I can tell you. Now it’s your turn. If you want to find out how I get out of Mrs. Wreckman’s biscotti bag you’ll have to read my book, Giggle and Go with Stubb to Italy. The first chapter are just click away on this website. Don’t miss my exciting adventures in Rome, Italy at crazy Contento School.
