Hey Kids,
Ciao Bella, a beautiful hello.
TT and I just love Summer. Why??? Because it’s ice cream, swimming, hikes, bikes, picnics, reading under a tree and just plain FUN! Thinking about reading. I bet you’re enjoying my book, Giggle and Go with Stubb to Italy.
Don’t forget, I’m the only dog in the world with a talking tummy called TT. Sadly, he’s still acting up.
TT my Terrible Tummy yells, bosses and complains. He worries constantly about food. There’s never enough.
Lately, he’s been giving loads of pinches. The pinches hurt and make my tail drag. I hate this. TT doesn’t care.
He tries to worry me. “Stubb, you are going to FAIL You’ll never find food.”
TT knows that I hate the word fail. It reminds me of when I was a Bad Luck Dog in the pound, and no one would adopt me.I don’t want to think about the pound, but he still nags and torments me.
Stubb, I’m hungry. Creep up on that old gal and grab some candy. Hurry and don’t FAIL.
“TT, I don’t like bothering old people. We’re not that hungry.”
TT checking in. How about cornering some little kids? They always have candy. Get movin.
“TT, stop bossing me! Kids are my friends. Remember, I can talk to them.”
Big deal! A talking dog. I’m interested in an EATING dog. So get moving.
“Enough is enough. You’re headed for a diet. How about dog kibble? No more people food.”
Stubb, I don’t want to beg. I’m sorry. A diet would kill me. You’d kill your Terrible Tummy. You’d be lost without me.
“TT, Calm down. I’m just considering a diet for you. Really, I couldn’t face it either. Watch your bossing and complaining.”
Kids, now you know what a pest TT is, but He’s FOREVER. How can you escape your tummy? The good thing about him is that he keeps me company. He’s kinda my friend. We all need our friends. They aren’t perfect either. So I guess I’ll make the best of it. At least my Terrible Talking Tummy isn’t boring.
TT here. Stop explaining about me. Just YUT UP!
“Sorry, TT. No one is perfect. Did you mean SHUT UP?”
Yes, but I didn’t want to hurt your feelings.
“TT, It’s Truce Time.”
Count your blessings, Stubb. Remember, with me you’ll never ever be lonesome.
Well kids, summer is rushing by. Enjoy each day and don’t forget to read about TT and me.
Ciao,
Stubb and TT.
PS Take a book to lunch, READ and EAT!
