A Witch A Broken Broom and Super Stubb

Welcome Kids,

TT and I wish you a HAPPY HALLOWEEN.

We’re tracking some little, short kids. They’re walking slow and dropping  candy. They don’t even miss it. He he ha ha.

I follow a skeleton, two witches, a pumpkin and three ghosts. The tallest ghost yells,”What do little ghost kids eat for dinner? Spookgetti!

The skipping pumpkin yells back, “What kind of shoes do baby ghosts wear? Boo-ties!”

TT is whining. When is it our turn? We’re always nice, and always good. We deserve some Halloween nibblers.

I squish plop through the park. I hear crying, and it isn’t TT my Talking Tummy.

TT alert! Stubb, keep movin! Our job is CANDY. Forget about the crying! Who Cares anyway?

There’s a broken broom near the bushes.I look inside and see a small girl sitting on the ground. Her black hat is dirty, and her dress is torn.

“I fell off my broom, and now it’s broken.” She sighs and rubs her eyes. “Puppy, I wish you could help me?”

The girl stops crying when I give her my paw. She pats me on the head.

We don’t need her broom problems. Stubb, I told you, our job is CANDY. Besides, that kid looks like a REAL WITCH!! Watch out for her long, green fingernails!

“TT, calm down. She’s just a little witch.”

I remember, there’s a broom at school I saw it yesterday. I roll out of the bushes. My squish plop walk turns into a run, and I race to school. My heart pounds as I hurry toward the open door. Yes, there it is!

TT ALARM. You’re not SUPER STUBB. Give it up! Dogs don’t carry brooms.

I clamp on and drag it to the door.

Watch out! Stubb. Here comes the janitor. I don’t want a BROOM FIGHT. Run, get movin!

I pant, push and pull it through the door.

“Come back here!” The janitor’s walk turns into a run.

A group of trick-or-treaters appear and surround him.

I hide behind a large red van.The janitor looks around and walks into the school.

I drop drop, carry carry the broom back to the little witch.

She sees it and grins.”You are an amazing, smart dog.Thank you!” The little witch hugs me and leaps onto the broom. “Bats, cats, broken brooms too, Goodbye and Happy Halloween to you.”

I watch her fly away, She waves and drops a small orange bag.I catch it. It’s full of Halloween munchies.

TT giggles.Stubb! I smell yummy CANDY. I’m happy, too. I like being SUPER STUBB.
