I’m A Good Peep

              I’m a Good Peep

Hello Friends,

A Happy Easter sent your way.

TT and I are on the lookout for our buddies with Easter candy.

Stubb, the HUNGRIES are attacking me!! Let’s steal a basket full of candy. Who Cares about our buddies?????

“TT, you are a TERRIBLE Talking Tummy! I’m tired of your HUNGRIES!”

I can’t stop! I hurt! I’m HUNGRY!!

We walk through the park and head toward the school.

“I’M A GOOD PEEP. Hello out there.”

“TT, did you hear that?” I look down, around and up. I see nothing.

“PLEASE!! I’m A GOOD PEEP, PEEP, PEEP.”

I push into the bushes. I’m eye to eye with a tiny, bright blue chick.

“I’m Peep and I’m a runaway. I overheard the Mom talking on her phone. She said I was a bother and something about fried chicken!”

TT alarm! A blue chick! He’s a mutant with germs. Stay back!

Peep waddles up to my paw and sits down. “I’m a good Peep. I was dyed blue in the pet shop because kids love colored chicks and they sell fast. Later, doesn’t always work out. We grow big, and our color fades.”

I give him a lick on his tiny blue head. “Don’t be a sad Peep. Follow me.” I walk slowly along and the chick follows close behind.

Let’s ditch this weird guy. I don’t want that ugly blue to rub off on me.

I ignore TT and go into the science classroom. Actually, I ignore him a lot.

The teacher, Miss Berry is cleaning her room. “Stubb, what do you want?” She smiles and scoops up the chick. “Aren’t you the cutest fellow.” She carefully places Peep on her desk.

Aha!!! I bet that teacher has a blue hand!!

“The students will love having another pet to study and take care of.”

Great! You’re a Peep Hero. I’m Still Starving!!!!’

I bark in a circle and Squish-Plop to the door. Peep is waving his little blue wing.

Miss.Berry returns from her desk. “Stubb, I’ve been saving these Easter treats for you. The cake is yummy.

TT gurgles, hums and apologizes.  Sorry I was full of the MEANS. Happy Easter to you and Peep.

Kids, go for a walk. Don’t miss the Easter Blossom show.

Stubb and TT
