A Thankful Breath

Welcome Friends, and Happy Thanksgiving.

                  A Thankful Breath

“TT, my hungry Talking Tummy what are you thankful for?”

Food! Nibblers, gobblers, and munchies!”

“What about breathing?”

Dumb! Who cares about breathing? Give me  a piece of juicy, brown turkey covered with mashed potatoes and gravy. I’m only thankful for food. Forget that Breathing Stuff!

Our breath keeps us alive! We breathe a few seconds after we’re born and we  breathe every minute of the day without even thinking about it. I breathe about 15 to 25 times a minute. Our kid friends breathe 18 to 30 breaths a minute.

I don’t care! BORING!!!!!!!

TT, dogs say hello by breathing and sniffing buts. It’s what we do. We’re amazing; we breathe in and out at the SAME TIME.

Stubb, I don’t care! BORING!!!!!!!

You’d better care. No breathing, No eating and Good-bye world and welcome to DOG HEAVEN.

Now he’s crying. I don’t want to leave I like being here. I just want to eat! I love being your Tallking Tummy!!

“Don’t cry. We have a special place in Dog Heaven. There’s a front row seat saved just for us because I’m the only dog alive that has a talking tummy. We’re  SPECIAl and we have a SPECIAL place.”

I’ve always known I’m super special. I like the idea of a  place saved for us in Dog Heaven.

“Relax, TT! Now we have to finish this Thanksgiving Blog.”

I’m thinking, that eating is a little thing. . . Well, kinda a little thing. Our lungs and breathing are a BIG THING to be Thankful for.

Have a YUMMY Thanksgiving, and remember be THANKFUL and BREATHE.

INTERESTING KID FACTS

1.Your lungs are amazing. They allow you to breathe, talk to your friend, shout at a game, sing, laugh, cry, and more!

2.Your lungs are so big that if you opened them flat, they could cover an entire tennis court!!!!

3.Lungs are pink and a bit squishy. They’re protected by your ribs,

4.You can’t see your lungs, but it’s easy to feel them in action: Put your hands on your chest and breathe in very deeply. You will feel your chest getting slightly bigger. Now breathe out the air, and feel your chest return to its regular size. You’ve just felt the power of your lungs!
