Howdy Kids,
It’s time to celebrate !!! Easter baskets, candy, colored eggs; what a delicious treat.
However, TT, my Terrible Tummy, and I want to give you an EASTER WATCH OUT! Look out for giant Easter Bunnies with big ears, weird glass eyes, and ugly smiles. The strange yellow ducks with giant orange feet are in the same category called TROUBLE!
Our friend Iris had a large pink Peter Cotton-tail bunny appear on Easter morning. That night Iris disappeared without a trace. The smiling Easter rabbit still lives at her house and sleeps in her bed!!!
Now on the Happy side of things.
TT insists we visit the church, and their yummy luncheon served downstairs, so we sneak in early and hide under a table.
Please don’t be too hard on TT and me. Dogs usually end up creeping around or hiding under something. NO DOGS ALLOWED is posted everywhere . . . I have to be smart, and I AM SMART; it’s called SURVIVAL!!
After church, the families hurry downstairs with kids that are tired and mean. Before long. the kids start complaining. “No! I don’t like this. I just want milk.”
We get excited when the food starts to fly. TT and I are delighted when the jello rolls or slips to the floor. One girl throws her baked ham and mashed potatoes, and they land just close enough for a gobbler. Another boy yells, “All I eat is bread. I don’t like this!” A large piece of cake filled with marshmallow and jelly beans lands on the floor not far from my nose! TT is giggling and wiggling!
Enjoy your family and friends and give an Easter hug to someone who needs it. Hugs are free, and they connect to smiles, and we all need smiles.
Find a good book and start reading. Do your best work at school, and before you know it, we’ll all be dancing into the summer sunshine.
Happy Easter
Stubb and TT
