Yes I was trapped! I’m a dog that creeps, hides and sneaks and fights, but being trapped really scared TT and me.

After you read chapters one  Giggle and Go with Stubb to Italy, you’ll understand how frightened I was.  You’ll enjoy reading the whole amazing story.

TT and I hid under a carriage taking Iris and her Aunt Grim to the famous colosseum in Rome.The ancient colosseum is a blood and guts place where thousands of animals were killed for sport. In other words, the animals fighting to the death,was like a football game with the audience cheering them on. Of course, TT and I felt uncomfortable there. We didn’t plan on staying very long, but I ran into trouble.

Well, you’ll never believe this, but I climbed up three levels to the top of the colosseum to look down on Rome.I saw tourists leaving and before I could climb down the gates closed and I was locked in. These were iron gates with bars. TT and I tried to slip through the bars, but TT my Terrible Tummy got stuck. We’ve been stuck before, but this was really scary. I was half out and half in. What a mess! I’m a dog that wants to be a hero and TRAPPED doesn’t work for me. It doesn’t fit my image of SUPER STUBB.

TT and I are friends, most of the time, but when he got stuck in between the bars I lost my temper and called him fat. He’s always hungry and pushing me to eat and fill up the tank. If he wasn’t so fat we could have slipped through the bars and escaped the colosseum. It was an exciting time and you’ll have to read Chapter Three to see what happens to TT and me. It really was a LIFE AND DEATH situation.

Well kids, keep in touch. I hope school is fun for you. Wait until you hear about Contento School in Rome. The teacher gets locked in a cage. Oh well, that’s a later chapter in Giggle and Go with Stubb and TT, to Italy.
