Hi Kids, Ciao a tutti, hello to everyone.
I hope you’re enjoying this fall day and reading, Giggle and Go with Stubb to Italy.
I love writing about my adventures and when you read chapter three you’ll meet the horrible, terrible cats that live in the Colosseum.
You might think, what’s a Colosseum, and who cares. Maybe you’re into soccer and Smart phones, but listen up. The Colosseum is the most famous landmark in Rome, Italy. It’s a huge amphitheather that in the first century seated forty-five thousand spectators and I was trapped in there!
One of the major entertainments in the Colosseum was the killing of animals. It’s estimated that over ninty-thousand were killed while spectators cheered. TT and I were anxious to leave. We like history and travel, but it was time to scram.
The Colosseum cats invited me to a clawing party. Since TT and I were stuck between the bars I had to accept the invitation. The cat that invited me was definitely not a lap cat. He jumped on my back and howled. He had a missing ear, a broken tail, a pus eye and bad breath.
I tried to run away. My paws were peddling and my back legs were pumping, but TT my Terrible Tummy was stuck. For once he totally forgot about eating and fill up the tank. About all I could do was growl and show my teeth.
The cats kept moving closer. I was worried about my eyes. Pus Eye, the cat on my back, scratched my nose and was headed for my eyes.
I came to Rome for pasta and gelatio, what happened???
Keep in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
Stubb and TT
