TT my Terrible Tummy and I want to keep in touch.

I hope you’re loving my book, Giggle and Go with Stubb to Italy, and learning about Rome, Italy. It’s fun writing the Stubb stories and drawing pictures of my characters.Who wouldn’t like to read about a traveling dog with a snarling, talking tummy. Besides, adventure follows us and WE LOVE IT!!

In my last blog I introduced you to Iris and her Aunt Grim. Don’t let  Aunt Grim or Grusome scare you. The worse thing about her is her  long, sharp, icky yellow nails.

I’m glad I hid under the carriage and met Iris. I had no idea she’d  save me from the Colosseum cats. We’ll always be good friends. A friend that saves your life is a forever friend. We don’t have many friends that are lifesavers.

Are you ready for a gelato story? You must realize that the gelato or ice cream you get in Rome, Italy is the BEST IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. It’s a way of life for the Italians. Gelato is eaten everyday. The families enjoy Gelato for lunch, Gelato after school, Gelato in the evening. Gelato while you’re walking, talking or sitting. it’s just a wonderful way to celebrate life.

TT and I found a Gelateria or ice cream store. I peeped in. It was chucked full of  glass cases filled with tubs of gelato and amazing ice cream desserts. A tall man was buying a quart of fragola, strawberry ice cream and a cone with two dips of crema ice cream. I was so excited my tail was shaking and my heart was thumping. The woman behind the counter wrapped the take out quart of gelato in beautiful foil paper and tied it with a ribbon. The man tried to get his wallet out to pay. He dropped his cone and the quart of gelato rolled off the counter.

TT was thrilled.

Stubber, It’s a gelato hit and run, get movin!

Well kids, what do think happened? All I can say is, that night I curled up around a fat, round happy TT and I had gelato on my muzzle and a few drops dripped on my paws.
