Hi Kids,
Happy Spring, happy reading, and a Bella Giornata, a beautiful day from Stubb.
TT, my Terrible Tummy and l like the Easter holiday, but the Easter Basket thing is a big PAIN!
Chocolate is a No No for dogs, unless we get gumdrops or maybe peanuts we’re stuck with an basket filled with plastic grass! We long for a great big fat chocolate Easter egg snuggled in a delightful little basket, or a chocolate bunny with big chocolate ears and a giant tail. But chocolate anything isn’t going to happen for us.
“TT, Terrible Tummy, no pinches! It’s not going to happen.”
TT here. Let’s stalk an old man eating gum drops. Gum drops are better than NOTHING.
“TT, calm down. I’m in charge.”
Kids, I’m sure you’ve heard the news about the new pope, Pope Francis. He lives at the Vatican in Rome, Italy.
I don’t want to brag, but I’ve been to the Vatican and actually visited St Peter’s Church and the Sistine Chapel.
I’m sure I’m the only dog alive that visited the Sistine Chapel. I saw Michaelangelo’s paintings, on the chapel ceiling.
Don’t laugh! I know dogs aren’t allowed in churches. The guard at the church door watched people. If they were wearing the wrong clothes: like shorts or bare shoulders they weren’t allowed in the church. But I got in anyway.
TT and I snuck under a nun’s cape. Her name was Sister Angela and she stopped to chat with my friends, Iris and Ben. While everyone was talking I crept under her skirt and hid there. I did get tired of looking at her black nun shoes, but other than that, she was a sweetheart.
My problem was that I fell asleep while she was telling Iris and Ben all about all the history of the Sistine Chapel, Michaelangelo and his wonderful paintings. She talked and talked and talked.…. It was hot under there. Sleep waves crept up on me and my eyes closed. I dozed off. Unfortunately, I started to snore!
You’ll have to read my book, Giggle and Go with Stubb to Italy. Find out what happened to me in the Sistine Chapel. It was BIG TROUBLE! Of course trouble doesn’t bother me. Super Stubb can handle trouble.
Bye for now.
Enjoy each day and do lots of reading.
