Stubb and TT Never Give Up

Hi Kids,

Welcome to my blob, I mean BLOG. It’s summer and TT my Terrible Tummy and I miss you.

I’m on vacation. Well, really, I’m always on vacation. Remember, dogs don’t work. My job is traveling. It’s kinda like a job, but MORE FUN!! I’ve traveled with dear Mrs. Prance, Iris and Ben and I have three delightful books about my adventures in Italy, England and France.

Yes, I have lots of freedom just to be a dog. The bad thing is I can’t get in certain places: restaurants, churches, planes, buses, schools, stores etc. Besides this, some people hate dogs! Maybe they’re scared. Still, it hurts my feelings.

In my book, Giggle and Go with Stubb to Italy, several adults didn’t want me around. Ben’s mom wouldn’t look at me, or even touch me. We had a major problem because I love Benjamin. He wanted to adopt me when I was a puppy dumped by the road. Of course his mom said “NO! I can’t stand dogs.” Finally at the end of Giggle and Go with Stubb to Italy. I won her over. I had to because I couldn’t give up seeing Ben. Both Ben and Iris fill my days with walks and fun. Hotel del corso

It was Mrs. Polito, Ben’s Mom’s problem. She was scared of all dogs not just me. She never got over the accident and the fact that Ben ended up crippled. He does okay and walks with a limp. He is slow  but WHO CARES.

Benjamin Polito is a terrific guy and a very good friend to me. Friends are important. Sometimes we have to work to keep a good friend, it’s worth it in the end.

Kids, read and find out how I solve the ‘Ben’s mom problem.’ My motto is NEVER GIVE UP. There’s always a way to make good things happen.

HAPPY SUMMER. Take a book outside. Lie on your back in the warm grass and stare at the sky. Watch the birds play in the clouds and enjoy being a Kid.
